Learn about our amazing programmes and opportunities
to learn more about God and to serve our community together.

Each week we celebrate God’s amazing welcome as we share in worship and communion, and so it’s natural for us to want to share that welcome with others. So why not join us at any of our regular weekly meeting times? – you’ll find friendship and a community to share the journey of faith with.

The St Barnabas community is passionate about offering midweek and Sunday experiences for children and families to play, learn and wonder about God together.

We understand that children have ways of showing faith that can enlarge the experience of adults too. We celebrate all generations together and opportunities to explore faith in an extended family model.

Each Tuesday night during term-time our youth group gets together for an evening of fun games, hanging out, relevant Bible study, prayer and some all-important kai.

Our young adult community meets together on Sunday lunchtimes, after attending our lifestreams/ nga puna waiora service together. We’re a group interested in Christian community, growing in our faith in Jesus and making a difference in the world. If you’d like to put your toe in the water, why not come along some time and bring a friend?– we’d love to meet you!

Make some new mates and get to know other men of the parish over a meal and a beer at one of our monthly dinners held throughout the year!

St Barnabas has a number of vibrant groups for women – all women are most welcome to attend – click below to find out more and to join in, just contact the leader of the group or get the details via the parish office.
