SBYG Country-Western Fundraiser Dinner

An incredible night full of laughter, connection and fun

Western Country-Themed Dinner: A Night to Remember

Yeehaw! The Fendall Hall was transformed into a lively Western country scene as SBYG hosted an unforgettable dinner. It was brimming with community spirit, laughter, and generosity. From cowboy hats to dynamite, attendees fully embraced the theme, creating an atmosphere of fun.

The night kicked off with our incredible MC, Evie, who truly brought the Wild West to life. With charisma and humor, she kept the evening flowing smoothly, engaging the crowd and setting the tone for the evening .

Entertainment and Games Galore
The youth room was filled with games to play. We had a can shoot with nerf guns, lasso the horse (saw horse), cactus ring toss, pin the badge on the sheriff and cornhole. Downstairs, we had gripping games of magnetic darts and cornhole. We played several all-in games of a block based quiz and Reverse Charades. Charades had everyone on their feet, desperately trying to convey a word or phrase to their team’s guesser. It was a lot of fun!

Heartfelt Moments of Sharing
A highlight of the evening was hearing from one of our youth and a dedicated leader. Theo and Nadia shared about their experiences of the group and the impact of being part of SBYG. Their heartfelt words reminded everyone of why we have a youth group.

Exciting Prizes and Generosity
The night concluded with an exciting raffle, featuring incredible prizes generously donated by local businesses and community members. From gift baskets to vouchers to three night stay in Honeymoon Bay, the raffle brought a buzz of excitement and ended the night on a high note.

Supporting the Next Chapter
Thanks to the amazing support and generosity of the community, the funds raised from the dinner will go towards supporting youth and leaders. Our first priority is supporting youth, leaders and volunteers attend Easter Camp. Easter Camp offers a life-changing experience with encounters with the gospel and the Holy Spirit. Money will also contribute to other youth events throughout the year.

The Western-themed dinner was more than just an event; it was a testament to the power of community, the enthusiasm of our youth, and the generosity of all who attended. Here’s to more incredible events like this in the future! Giddy-up! 🐎🎉
