Full of the people of our parish, your service and gifts, our annual report is attached.
The 150th AGM of the Parish of Fendalton will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 30 April in Fendall Hall.
Printed copies of our annual report will also be made available on request.
This report is a rich feast of fine things. Thanks to all who have contributed and the groups, ministries, service, opportunities, challenges and joy they each represent.
As the report for the 150th AGM of this parish it is also an historical document of the faithful hand of God and the work of the people in Fendalton for a century-and-a-half. You are all part of that work.
Particular thanks to Marion Cook for collating the various reports in amidst her busy role.
Many thanks also to Katie Klingenberg and the Finance team, for their many long hours preparing and producing the financial reports. Six pages of high-level financial reports are available here. Detailed reports, which are still being prepared, will follow.
The Finance team welcomes any questions about their reports ahead of the meeting so they can be responded to at the AGM. Questions can be emailed to Selwyn Paynter, Chair of the Finance Committee, at selwyn.paynter@cipl.co.nz by 25 April 2025.
At this AGM we will also elect our vestry. Hanan Fokkens and Claire Muirhead have indicated they won’t be seeking re-election to Vestry this year. Thanks to both for their valuable contributions to Vestry. We will miss them! All other Vestry members are standing for re-election. (Our Synod reps Corinne Haines & Michael Malthus aren’t up for re-election until 2027).
If you are interested in standing for Vestry, feel free to have a conversation with one of the Wardens (Wendy Kington and Nigel Yeoh), or me. The nomination form is attached. Nominations for Vestry will close on Monday 28 April at 12 noon.
