Set in Ireland in the 1860’s after the famine. An English nurse is summoned to investigate the “miracle girl”. It is claimed she survives without food, by manna from heaven. Drawn into the pain of a child suffering. Starring Florence Pugh, Tom Burke

June 26, 6.30pm – BABETTE’S FEAST (1987) 102min

A community of puritan Lutherans in the 1870’s. Babette, a young, female refugee from France becomes their cook. She brings God’s warmth and light. Oscar foreign film (Denmark. English subtitles).
