Thank you to all those who shared in and contributed to our Anzac Day service this year, with so many parishioners involved in different ways.
Special thanks to:
Carol Stewart and team brought together beautiful floral decorations, including white crosses in front of our memorial church.
John Packer told us about his uncle Bill Ledger Buss, named on our WW2 memorial plaque.
Rev Dr Pauline Stewart read the story of ‘Violet’s Scarf’ to a row of children who also included a little Violet!
Dr Andrew Butcher told us about some interesting connections between St Barnabas and a church in Sabah, Malaysia.
Readings were given by Charles Collins, Frieda Looser and Bill Black.
Organist Denis Guyan led the Choir in stirring hymns and anthem In Flanders Fields.
Oscar Stove, trumpeter, played a poignant Last Post & Reveille. Thank you, all.
