A number of parishioners enjoyed a picnic together recently on a beautiful evening in Mona Vale.
It was lovely to see a number of people from across the services at St Barnabas enjoying their time together. It was a beautifully sunny evening, however the darker clouds emerged and at one point we heard the sound of thunder followed by a couple of drops of rain, however it held off and the temperature remained nice. Some families enjoyed games as did their family dogs and it was great to see a number of the young adults there also. There was much chatter and delicious food consumed and shared.
The only downside for me was that the two chairs that Jeff and I had dragged out of the shed sadly ended their night in the rubbish bin at home. They have served us well over many years. I think I know what we will be getting for Christmas this year!
