You may have noticed the church’s East Window of “The Resurrection” is looking a little different.

The east window above the altar, ‘The Resurrection’ [1910] (Heaton, Butler & Bayne, London) was originally transferred from the old church and commemorates Thomas W. N. Beckett.

This week it has been carefully removed for some much needed repair work. The window is due to be restored to its former glory by December 2nd.

In the meantime what you now see up above the altar is a laser copy of the original window. Did you notice the difference?!
