With the colder months upon us we are appealing for warm sleeping bags.
The Christchurch City Mission is approached by a number of homeless people who are unable, for a variety of reasons, to go to the accommodation that the Mission offers, or other alternative places of support. Sleeping bags and new blankets will assist them to manage outside as winter approaches.
The sleeping bags can be new or second-hand, as long as they are clean. These sleeping bags will help the homeless to manage through the colder months.
Sleeping bags can be dropped of at the St Barnabas church office.
