Collect

 Lord of life, by submitting to death, you conquered the grave;

By being lifted upon the cross, you draw all peoples to you; by being raised from the dead,

You restore to humanity all that was lost through sin:

Be with us in your risen power,

That in word and deed we may proclaim

the marvellous mystery of death and resurrection. Amen.

St Barnabas Women’s Seekers

This is the name of the new women’s group started up at St Barnabas late last year. The name of this group has many meanings. We are:

• seeking God in our lives;

• seeking to build bridges and friendships between the groups and services at Church, Women at the Well, Mainly Music, Wednesday Playgroup, 10am life streams and 10am Church, Antioch and Evensong;

• seeking new experiences;

• seeking time out of the week for friendship and fellowship.

It is our hope that the women of the parish between the ages of 30 ish and 50 ish will come along and enjoy their couple of hours of fellowship.

April’s event is a Jewellery Evening on Wednesday 29th 7pm Tui Room. $20
