Courses & Activities

Some of the Parish Activities:

For Pre-Schoolers

  • Crèche in the Makora Room, during 10am services
  • mainly music - Fridays during term time. Two sessions, 9.45 in the hall and 10.30 in the Tui room.Music and movement for preschoolers and their caregivers followed by morning tea and play. A waiting list may be operating.

For Children

  • Kidzone Children’s Programme Sunday 10-11.15am

For Young People

  • ANTIOCH worship service Sunday evenings 7pm, specifically for youth at high school, uni & working
  • Youth Group in the Hall Friday evenings:
    • Intermediate school age 7-8.15pm
    • High school age 8.30-10pm
    • Youth Band 7-8.30pm
  • Thursday Space 7pm every Thursday for 17 yrs +

Events for Women

  • Association of Anglican Women - There are 3 AAW groups for women, 2 meet in the evening, 1 in the afternoon. Details from the Parish Office.
  • Women at the Well: for women, mainly mums of pre-school & school age children, crèche provided. Morning tea, prayer & Bible study. Tuesday 9.30-11.30am, term time. Meets in the Hall;  Ph  Vicki  980 2745.

Events for Men

  • We meet alternate months for breakfast, outings, speakers and working bees.

Explore Course & Home Groups

  • Regularly we run a course introducing the Christian faith – The Explore Course. Many parishioners belong to a homegroup for support, prayer, Bible Study & discussion. Contact the parish office.

Marriage Course

  • Each year we run the Marriage Course – a 7 week course to assist couples to build a healthier, stronger marriage. Contact the parish office.
