SUNDAYS at 10 o’clock
KidZone
Kidzone@Medbury
During the 10:00 am lifestreams worship service, except for the 1st Sunday of the month - when there is an all ages service.
The children all begin in the service with their families. The leaders and children go out to Kidzone after the opening prayers and songs and return for communion.
There are four groups in Kidzone:
Bubbles (0-5 year olds, Preschool/Kindy)
Bubbles is our creche. We are located in the foyer of the Medbury Hall. At Bubbles there is music, Bible stories, prayer, crafts and games. Parents/caregivers are invited to settle their child before returning to the service or they are welcome to stay with them.Splash (5-7 year olds, years 1-2)
We have a Bible story each week with prayers and other activities. We meet in either the Music Room or the Side Foyer of the Medbury Hall.
Xstream (7-9 year olds, years 3-4)
The Grid (years 5-8)
We also have a Bible story each week and try to relate the story to how we act and live. We meet in either the Music Room or the Side Foyer of the Medbury Hall.
We have a lesson from the Bible and we have "The Grid" a magazine which helps us engage in the story. We have lots of debate and discussion, as we figure out how Jesus wants us to live our lives in the best possible way, loving God and each other. We meet in the Tech Room of the Medbury Hall.
What are we doing at the moment??
There no Kidzone on 27 December & 3 January (activities are available at the back of the hall, and there is a children's play space set up in the foyer). The 10 & 17 January at Medbury we will offer a story and craft for younger children. 24 January is a picnic worship at Victoria Park, and 31 January is a combined service in the church at St. Barnabas.
Kidzone 2010 will begin with the all-age service at Medbury on 7 February.
